Arjun joined thinking it was a 6-year path. Reality: NMC counts only the MD portion towards the 54-month minimum. The 2-year BS degree does not count toward the medical qualification.

NMC POSITION: "BS Course cannot be equated/included with MBBS course. The students who have already taken admission... cannot be treated as eligible for registration."

Rahul was sold a "5+1" plan. Reality: Most Russian universities offer 6-year integrated programs where clinical rotations and coursework happen together. Internship is not a separate year after graduation.

REGULATION 4(a)(ii): "Undergone an internship for a minimum duration of twelve months... IN ADDITION to the course."
NVF AUDIT LESSON — RULE 2:

The internship must be standalone and AFTER the course is complete. If the transcript shows coursework during the final year, Rule 2 is violated.

NMC ALERT: "Teaching NOT in English — Indian students cannot follow lectures. Failure to follow this advisory may result in ineligibility."

Confirm in the official admission documents that theory, practical, AND clinical training are all in English.

Graduated as a "junior doctor," which only allows supervised practice in Georgia. To practice independently, he needs 3 more years of residency and a state exam in Georgian.

REGULATION 4(b): License must be "at par with the license to practice medicine given to citizen of that country."

A "junior doctor" status is not parity. If independent licensure requires additional years or a local-language exam, Rule 6 fails.

If the host country's licensing exam is in a local language structurally inaccessible to foreign graduates, registration in India will be rejected.
