MBBS in Nepal Duration
MBBS from Nepal is a tightly packed curriculum of 5.5 years. The total duration for MBBS in Nepal is the same as that of MBBS in India. The duration is 4.5 years with 1 year of internship. After completing your MBBS studies in Nepal, you can come back to India and sit for the licensing exam. Once you clear the screening test, you will be required to do the internship in India. Currently, the duration of the internship is 1 year. After this, you will get a permanent license number to practice as a doctor in India.

Getting in a good college for MBBS at Nepal is not so difficult or painstaking as some would think. There are certain requirements along with guidelines that a student has to follow to secure a seat. Simple!

Students are required to pass a screening test and then the selection is done on merit basis.
Some universities can alter their selection procedures as for example- Kathmandu University conducts its own full-fledged Entrance Exam in which the students have to score at least 50% to qualify for further rounds if any.
